One Delivery, Multiple Shops: How SHOCAL Does What Others Cannot

Imagine this: you want pizza from your favourite Italian, your partner fancies Greek food, and you need a bottle of wine from that independent shop down the road. With most delivery apps, that is three separate orders, three delivery fees, and three different arrival times.

With SHOCAL, it is one order, one delivery fee, one driver.

How It Works

Our multi-shop delivery feature lets you add items from multiple local businesses to a single basket. When you check out, our system coordinates the pickups so everything arrives together, usually within an hour.

The driver collects from each shop in the most efficient order, and you get everything at once. It is something the big delivery apps simply do not offer.

Why We Built It

Back when high streets were thriving, people would pop into the butcher, then the baker, then the greengrocer. One trip, multiple shops. We wanted to recreate that experience for the delivery age.

It also makes supporting local more practical. Instead of paying multiple delivery fees (which adds up fast), you pay once and can order from several independents without it costing a fortune.

Real Examples

Our customers use multi-delivery in all sorts of creative ways:

  • Date night: Restaurant meal plus flowers plus chocolates
  • Birthday surprise: Cake from a local baker plus gifts from independent shops
  • Weekly shop: Meat from the butcher, bread from the bakery, veg from the greengrocer
  • Party supplies: Food from multiple restaurants to cater for different tastes

Better for Drivers Too

Multi-delivery means drivers can earn more per trip without working harder. They are collecting from several businesses in one run, which is more efficient and better paid than single-stop deliveries.

It is one of those features that genuinely works better for everyone: customers, businesses, and drivers.
